The Business Architecture Guild, an international, not-for-profit, member-based organization that provides valuable resources to business architecture practitioners, announced the release of A Guide to the Business Architecture Body of Knowledge™ (BIZBOK Guide) Version 4.1.
The latest version includes a number of new sections, in addition to refinements. The Guild introduces new sections, indented for established practitioners, provides a framework that enables practitioners to evolve concepts and incorporate best practices into the BIZBOK Guide. Version 4.1 includes the following new sections:
According to Whynde Kuehn, Guild Co-founder, Chair of the Editorial Board and STA Group Practice Director, “Member working teams not only improve the content being delivered by the Guild in accordance with our mission, but ensure that best practices are vetted and reinforced through rigorous peer review. Teams often begin by developing a white paper or presentation to work out ideas. As ideas come to fruition, content is then transferred into the BIZBOK.”
The Business Architecture Guild generally releases two versions of the BIZBOK Guide each year. BIZBOK Guide Version 4.5 is currently planned for release date in Q2 2015.
