Business Architecture

Our Approach

Our highly skilled and experienced consultants practice a top-down, business-driven and task-independent approach to Business Architecture and Strategy.

We not only deliver results, but we focus on providing leadership, coaching, mentoring and transferring our skills and experience to client teams throughout the course of our engagements.

Our Service Offerings

  • Enterprise Business Architecture Development

We can teach your organization how to develop and implement a comprehensive, foundational enterprise business architecture framework that links the strategy of the organization to a fully aligned operating model.

If your organization is new to Business Architecture, we can help you develop your own Enterprise Business Architecture practice, including charters and operating principles, governance models, organization and role descriptions, development plans, tools and training.

  • Portfolio Management & Roadmap Development

We work with our clients to develop operational "roadmaps" that connect current state assessments with portfolios of operational and technology investment opportunities. Final deliverables typically include sequenced execution plans aligned with the long-term strategies and goals of the organization.

  • Business Process Modeling & Management

We teach our clients to model their processes at the appropriate level for a given purpose, govern and manage their enterprise business processes, challenge themselves to re-think the way their processes are being executed, and re-engineer their processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Requirements Definition & Assessment

We help our clients to define the needs of the business, independently of "how" an IT organization will implement them, and maintain a reusable repository of business, functional and non-functional requirements.

We can also quickly assess existing sets of requirements and provide guidance on how to improve poorly written, incomplete requirements to more completely and accurately define business needs and avoid costly, time-consuming rework further into the solution development lifecycle.

  • Business Rules Definition

We explicitly identify and capture the rules by which the business is governed. Our services include identifying the various rule types that exist across an organization, building an enterprise rules repository, and identifying rules for externalization.

  • Training Development and Delivery

We offer both pre-developed and customized training curriculums in requirements development, rules definition, process modeling, and the creation of Enterprise Business Architecture.
